Before you travel — Yuzawa Uonuma
Entry starts at 16:00 and check-in is from 16:00 to 21:00 (Japan Standard Time). Check-in after 21:00 is generally not permitted. No entry before 16:00; no luggage storage. Self-check-in includes a live video call and a passport identity check. The named lead guest must stay; reservations cannot be transferred. 10 Stories Stay Yuzawa Uonuma adjoins Jiyujin’s offices. The baths were originally intended for employees, but seemed too good to keep to ourselves, so guest rooms were added and the property opened as accommodation.
Alongside the large outdoor bath with freely flowing source water, our pride is the pair of saunas in each men’s and women’s area: a Bona sauna with automatic water pouring and a mist sauna warm enough for a proper sweat. Recommended for those who want a sauna break to clear their head between sessions of work, rather than simply a leisurely hot-spring escape.

Enjoy hot springs and saunas, with a generous free flow of sodium-calcium chloride spring water.
Saunas
The main bath area has a Bona sauna and steam sauna. Outside is a mixed-gender wood-fired sauna, currently operating on Saturdays and Sundays only. Swimwear is required.
Equipment room
Available items include towels, bath towels, mesh bags, one tumbler per person, one-size sauna ponchos on Saturdays and Sundays, nail clippers, an iron and an ironing board. The wood-fired sauna operates on Saturdays and Sundays only and requires swimwear. Please bring your own swimsuit.
Lounge
A lounge with power outlets and Wi-Fi, with counter and sofa seating for comfortable, productive work.
Shared kitchen
You are welcome to cook your own ingredients. Jiyujin staff also use the kitchen. Equipment: induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, saucepan, frying pan, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes, wine and can openers, washing-up sponges and detergent.
EV charger
A 6 kW EV charger is available. It is generally for overnight guests only, limited to one vehicle per night, on a first-come, first-served basis.
