Membership and visitor stays

10 Stories Stay is members’ accommodation that also welcomes visitors. No paid monthly membership is needed.

FUN, LITE and STANDARD have a minimum contract term of six months.
Yuzawa Uonuma and Oze welcome guests of elementary-school age and above. Matsumoto welcomes guests of junior high school age and above; elementary-school children and younger children cannot stay.
Membership fees for mid-month registrations are charged pro rata.
For Matsumoto, include guests of junior high school age and above in the adult guest count and book at the adult rate.

Rules for your stay

Our stays are primarily self-service, but they are not entirely unstaffed. Please do not assume that hotel-style, in-person front-desk service is always available. Read the check-in and entry instructions before you arrive.

Only the registered member or lead guest and the companions on the reservation may stay. Reservations cannot be transferred or resold. Someone arriving in the registered guest’s place cannot enter, including late at night.

There are three 10 Stories Stay properties.
Yuzawa Uonuma: open year-round
Oze: closed in winter; usually open from April to early November
Matsumoto: open year-round

Visitor booking
Free GUEST registration

Choose your property and dates using a visitor booking button. This is separate from the optional FUN, LITE and STANDARD subscriptions.

The booking site is currently in Japanese. At Yuzawa Uonuma, a free GUEST account is required and can be created during booking (no joining or annual fee). Overseas address entry is available, but the form still asks for a name reading in Japanese hiragana.

Already booked through Booking.com or another booking site? Do not make another reservation or register again here. Use the existing booking and the actual guests’ details.

Only the registered member or lead guest and the companions on the reservation may stay. Reservations cannot be transferred or resold. Someone arriving in the registered guest’s place cannot enter, including late at night.

Before booking Yuzawa Uonuma
Entry starts at 16:00 and check-in is from 16:00 to 21:00 (Japan Standard Time), with no earlier entry or luggage storage. Check-in after 21:00 is generally not permitted. Self-check-in includes a live video call and a passport identity check; the named lead guest must stay. Before arranging trains, flights or event visits, read the full arrival and departure information on the Yuzawa Uonuma property page. The local station has no station building, shops, cafés or taxi rank, and winter travel may take longer. Complete check-in before evening events if returning after 21:00.
